His musical journey began at age four through church and his first drum set, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to music. Dixon attended William E. Grady High School and later studied Audio Engineering at The Institute of Audio Research (IAR) in Manhattan, graduating in 2014 as one of the top students in his class. After completing internships at major New York City studios, he developed a reputation for technical excellence and musical intuition. His production credits include Anthony Hamilton, Omari Hardwick, and Lloyd Banks, with engineering work for Joell Ortiz, !llmind, and Jared Evan. He has also worked in live sound as a roadie for the band Skyy and taught music production programs to students from elementary through high school. Booka is the apart of a rising production collective often referred to as the new Hitmen & Dungeon Family.
